Toxic- A sonnet

Here we go again.
Yelling and screaming
Hurt, anger and pain.
With fat tears streaming.
Down her lovely face.
“Out!” she loudly yells,
While I curse and pace.
The pain in her swells
For her, my heart pines.
Now, she’s out of steam.
Quietly, she whines,
“Do we have to scream,
With such burning hate,
Just to communicate?”

With this poem, I wanted to challenge myself. Most of my poems are free verse- no metric rule, no rhyme scheme. So I purposely worked on one with a rhyme scheme, and a metric rule. And I stuck to the 14 line rules of the sonnet.
I'm kinda proud pf myself for this one...
Yay me!
Ciao,
Sia.
