A Letter To Life

Dear Life, I don't know why you're so tough. I don't know why you're so hard to live. Everyday, you throw obstacles in my way. Everyday, there's a new struggle, a new problem, a new issue. Today it's death. Tomorrow, it's disease. Then there's failure, there's pain, there's heartbreak, there's mental illnesses. There are so many things that you have designed to keep me down. But with every obstacle, with every hardship, with every difficult thing you throw my way with the determination to pull me down, break me and keep me down, I find the strength to pull through. Sometimes, you will beat me down for a moment or two. But I will not stay down. I might shed a tear or two, I might withdraw and wallow in pain, but I refuse to stay defeated for long.
